Summer Travels 2015 - Part 2, Colorado

June 17 - 27

A few days after Elin finished Pre-K, the girls and I flew to Colorado to spend 10 days with Grandma Aila and Grampy in Ignacio, Colorado.

Although my girls love to see their Grandparents, let's be honest, they LOVE to spend time with their cousins.

We always do fun stuff when we are in Colorado.  We went swimming at the Ignacio Rec center a couple of times.

And of course, Elin got to have time playing in the mud. This is her favorite thing to do when we are in Colorado.  A little backstory on how this started:  a few summers ago when we were in Colorado there was a huge rain storm that caused the backyard to be a big mud hole.  Elin snuck out of the house when the rain stopped (she was 3) and went out to play in the mud. Since then, it has been her favorite thing to do when we are home.  This year, we didn't have any rain so Grampy made her mud a couple of times.

After 10 days of fun, we headed back to Seattle.  Elin says is was the "best trip ever"....which she says about every trip we take.  It really means that she had a really great time.  My girls play so well with Deek and Linc and they can't get enough of Mia.  We sure love our family and can't wait to come back. Elin is negotiating to come for Christmas....
