Pulla & Pancakes - Scandinavia Part 6

One last blog for our Scandinavian trip...

Anikka LOVES Pulla. She will eat an entire braid when I make it. So, when we told her we were going to Finland she told me she wanted to eat pulla EVERYDAY we were there. We didn't get to eat it everyday, but we did have lots and lots of pastries and lots and lots of Pulla. So, we started ranking the best and the worst and recording them. I will list her rankings in order of best to worst.

1. 9/10 June 25, 2023 Voisilmapulla from the gas station in Leppavirta before the Moomin Ice Cave. She descrived this one as AMAZING! This was her first Voisilmapulla.

2. 9/10 June 30, 2023. SJ Train from Stockholm, Sweden to Copenhagen,Denmark

3. 9/10 June 29, 2023. Kanelbulle "butter bun" at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm , Sweden.

4. 8.5/10. July 8, 2023 Pulla with pastachio. VJ train from Bergen to Oslo. Norway.

5. 8.5/10. June 28, 2023. Stockholm Sweden bakery

6. 8/10. July 12, 2023. Kouvapuisti from Lidl (grocery store) in Helsinki, Finland.

7. 6.5/10. June 26, 2023. Voisilmapulla from gas station in Lampas on the drive to Turku, Finland.

8. 6/10. July 8, 2023. Voisilmapulla in Soumenlinna, Finland.

9. 6/10. June 22, 2023. Kouvapuisti at Scandic Julia in Turku, Finland.

10. 6/10. June 20, 2023. Pulla from Prisma - Kalajoki, Finland.

12. 0/10. June 24, 2023. Pulla from supermarket in Rautalampi Finland. HATED it. It had strawberry and creme.

Elin decided it would be fun to rank all the "pancakes" we had. Finnish/Swedish pancakes are more like crepes and we had them a lot at the breakfast buffets in our hotels. Sometimes we would also find them at the gas station. Here are her rankings for pancakes from best to worst.
