St. Thomas & St. John USVI (May 28-June 7, 2021) - Part 2

St. Thomas USVI - Part 2

Day 4 - Monday, May 31 - Megan's Bay + more pool time

After sleeping in until 10 am...we forced the girls to leave the resort so that we could spend the day at Megan's Bay which is one of the top rated beaches in the world.

They really just wanted to hang out at the pool again, but we bribed them with promises of floating mats at the beach.  Luckily we also rented an umbrella as it was a very hot day.   We had lots of time playing in the water.

and had a picnic lunch on the beach.

We headed back to the condo for a little relax time then spent the rest of the afternoon at the hilltop pool.

We had dinner (leftovers) in the condo and then to the main pool for evening swimming and key lime pie (Anikka like the pie, Elin did not).  They did think it was super fun to eat it while in the pool.

Day 5 - Tuesday, June 1 - Red Hook, shopping and pools

We needed a little down time this morning, so we all relaxed in the condo (while I did laundry) then got ready for lunch and shopping in Red Hook.  We had intended to go to Duffy's Love Shack for jerk chicken sandwiches  (I went there and LOVED it on my cruise) but it was closed. So we found another place in Red Hook to eat near the water. We looked around in the shops there.  Didn't find too much to buy.  Luckily we had purchased Caribbean hook bracelets for the girls from a vendor at the resort. This was the only thing I really wanted to buy them as a momento of the trip.

At the resort, because the hills are so steep and there are many many stairs, they have golf carts that take you up to your room.  You can also take them down if you want, but we chose to usually walk the stairs down.   This is how the golf carts look.

After our excursion to Red Hook, we changed into swimming suits and spent the rest of the afternoon at the main pool and yes, more Princess Marigolds.  We had dinner at Landsharks then back up to the hilltop pool for a couple of hours to finish out the day.

Day 6 - Wednesday,  June 2 - Beach, Pool & Dinner out

For our last full day on St. Thomas (before heading to St. John) we walked back over to Coki Beach

and spent some more time playing in the water and snorkeling. We packed a lunch and ate at the beach.

We rented beach chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards.

and had yummy ice cream.

then we walked back to the resort and spent an hour in the main pool.

Because it was our last night, we made dinner reservations at the Caribbean Fish Market and had a very delicious and nice dinner out.

Our dinner view was amazing and the food was so good.

After dinner we took a few pictures on the beach.

and last but not least for the day....a quick swim at the hilltop pool.
