Cousins, Dogs and Kiely's Baptism

Cousins and dogs....that is what Elin will remember about our latest trip.  The first week of April we flew to Utah to visit family.  Elin got to spend a lot of quality time with her cousins at both Aunt Leina and Aunt Julie's houses....and both Aunts have dogs, which were almost as exciting to Elin as the cousins. In fact, she has remained one of her stuffed dogs "Zeus" after my sisters rottweiler who she loved to hug and snuggle (luckily Zeus is VERY good with babies).

We spent the first part of the week in Salt Lake. We went to the park, colored Easter eggs and played and played and played. Elin had a fabulous time.

We also had a few Easter egg hunts.

This was our last trip with Elin as a lap child.  I debated about buying her a seat because she is such a wiggle worm right now.  Luckily, on the flight down it wasn't full and we had an empty seat for her in the middle. She loved sitting in it like a big girl and watched her shows on the iPad.  On the way home, the flight was completely full so she had to sit on our laps.  Luckily, the flight took off at nap time and for the first time in a LONG time she actually fell asleep on my lap. She was an angel for the rest of the flight. In fact, she was a great traveler for the entire trip, as she usually is.

Walking through the airport (yes we make her carry her own toys)

YEAH! sleeping baby!

  1. I'm so glad Elin was good for you on the flights!! Whew!! Looks like so much fun. You always know how to pack in as much family time as you can during your trips.

How fun that you got to see both families. Everyone looks so grown up! The pictures of Elin are adorable, especially the one of her sitting by the tulips! So cute! Hope you're doing well. We seriously need to get together for lunch or something.
