60th Wedding Anniversary - Ignacio CO Aug 30 - Sept 2, 2024

 On August 8th my parents had their 60th Wedding Anniversary.  We all gathered (as many as possible) in Ignacio over Labor Day Weekend to celebrate.

We had the party on Saturday afternoon in the backyard of our friends house ( which is also the Airbnb where most of us stay)

It was especially great to be with all my siblings and parents since it doesn’t happen very often.

 We took a “ cousin” picture

We had a great time.

Sunday we spent time visiting, 

eating the BEST cinnamon rolls made by Grandma Aila,

playing haunted Doctors office, 

 and other games.

The girls made a drive through cafe, 

Mia showed us her pet bird she rescued, 

and the girls did some crafts. 

 After dinner we had homemade ice cream and cookies 

and ended the night with Mexican train .

On Monday most of us headed home.

Although it was a quick trip, I loved spending time with the people that I love. We were grateful for those who traveled to celebrate with us.
