| Six days old |
In January we had our first ultrasound and got our first glimpse of our little peanut.
Ultrasound at 20 weeks showed that we were having another girl (yeah!)
At 7 months I started finally looking like I was pregnant (and not just getting chubby)

In June they did a 3-D ultrasound and we got a small glimpse of Anikka's cute little face. We only got a partial view because she was not very cooperative, which was the case during each ultrasound. She would usually turn her back to us when we tried to get a picture of her face.
In June, at 8 months pregnant we went to Hawaii for a family vacation. Due to my increasing size we had a nice low key vacation.

Finally, it was delivery day
We checked in to the hospital at 7:30 am for a scheduled c-section.
Anikka Elise Scoffield arrived at 10:08 am on Monday, August 6, 2012.

She weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Day 2-Anikka was very alert and liked to look around.

Anikka is now 3 weeks old and we are all learning to adjust to life with a newborn in the house. Elin seems to like having a baby sister although it took a few days for her to get used to a crying baby and she is still adjusting to having to share Mommy's attention.

We are so thankful for two beautiful, healthy daughters and feel blessed to have them in our family.
